In 1992, Mukesh Agarwal was in Class 11 in a small town in Rajasthan, preparing for an engineering entrance exam with coaching materials sent by mail.
Later, while at Engineering College in Kota, he prepared for the GRE with books. Further study took him to the United States. He later used online resources to prepare for the GMAT, before studying at Wharton. Years later, he helped his children prepare for their own exams.
Across two generations, the ways of learning changed. What still mattered was the chance to practise, understand mistakes and get help when something was difficult. The right support could make a goal feel possible.
That experience helped shape Agarwals. Somewhere in India today, another student is looking for a way forward. We want AI to help more of those students find the support they need.
